Gentleman Like Manner

sdfjhekjrhakjhfjadsfr there are no words to describe my love for this book. I read it WAYYY to much and it just doesn't get old *sigh*
this is the part where they're at the collins' house and Darcy preposes (gasp) and elizabeth turns him down. i actually really love this part, even though it makes me very upset, b/c elizabeth is super awesome femenist and Darcy, gosh he's just DARCY. and then when she shuts him down with that whole "if you had behaved in a more gentleman like fashion" (or something like that) comment it just BREAKS MY HEART. i imagine that's what she's saying to him here. but he still loves her!!! b/c he's wonderful......
i have a serious book crush on Mr. Darcy, i do.
